If you are a landlord letting a property equipped with gas appliances you need to make sure that pipe work, appliances and flues provided for tenants are maintained in a safe condition.
To this end you have a legal requirement to carry out a gas safety
check every
12 months by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Once the gas
appliances have been checked, you should receive a gas safety certificate
from the engineer, a copy of which must be passed onto your tenant.
We charge a flat rate of £55 plus VAT to safety check all gas appliances in a rented property. We also offer low follow-on labour rates to deal with underlying faults. Our documentation is produced electronically and can be emailed to you, although hard copies are always made available on request.
