A gas hob

We aim to be upfront, clear and fair in our pricing. There are no hidden extras and there is no call out charge. Fixed prices are available across
the majority of our services so you know what you will most likely pay in advance of our arrival. Parts are charged at our suppliers' retail list price.

For breakdowns and repairs to boilers, showers, electric heating systems, any gas appliance and any plumbing problems, our labour charges are fixed for the first hour – the majority of repairs are completed in this time.

We aim to make charges simple and clear by providing set costs for our two repair scenarios:

First hour repair £70+vat Repaired on the Spot
If it can be Repaired on the Spot within the first hour labour charges will be £70 plus parts plus VAT. The majority of repairs are completed within the first hour. On the odd occasion that the repair goes past the first hour, charges are £15 plus VAT per 1/4 hour thereafter.

Return visit repair £90 + vat Repaired on Return
If we need to make a second visit to complete the repair, for example if we need to order parts, our Repaired on Return rate to cover both visits (diagnosis plus up to one hour return visit for repair) is £90 plus parts plus VAT. The majority of repairs are completed in this time. On the odd occasion that the repair goes past the first hour, charges are £15 plus VAT per 1/4 hour thereafter. On the exceptionally rare occasions where further visits are required for the same fault/set of faults our charges are £60 per hour.

Applicance service £60+vat Servicing
A boiler or gas appliance service is £60 plus VAT. This fixed price is applicable to the vast majority of boilers and gas appliances, with the exception of back boilers and warm air units where we charge £15 plus VAT per quarter hour after the first 30 minutes. (I.e. for these boilers our fixed rate of £60 plus VAT will cover you for the first 30 minutes of the service.)

If you would like us to deal with any underlying faults after the service, we charge £15 per 1/4 hour plus parts plus VAT. If we need to return to complete the repair our charges are £60 per hour.

Gas safety check £55+vat Landlords Gas Safety Checks
Landlords gas safety checks are a flat rate of £55 plus VAT, regardless of the number of appliances. If you would like us to deal with any underlying faults after the gas check, we charge £15 per 1/4 hour plus parts plus VAT. If we need to return to complete the repair our charges are £60 per hour.

Gas safety check & service £85+vat Landlords Gas Safety Check and Service
We will combine these services for a flat rate of £85 plus VAT, with the exception of back boilers and warm air units where we charge £15 plus VAT per quarter hour after the first 45 minutes. (I.e. for these boilers our fixed rate of £85 plus VAT will cover you for the first 45 minutes of the gas check/service.)

If you wish us to deal with any underlying faults after the gas check, we charge £15 per 1/4 hour plus parts plus VAT. If we need to return to complete the repair our charges are £60 per hour.

Installation Quote Installations
We will provide you with a quote for large heating, plumbing and electrical works, and also smaller system improvements such as installing thermostatic radiator valves. You will not be charged for quotes as we understand the need to compare prices with other companies.

You should always get quotes from at least three reputable companies. We will provide you with a full breakdown of works, so you can ask other companies the right questions on what they have included - allowing you to compare like for like.

Electrical Work £40+vat Electrical work
Minor electrical works, such as adding socket or changing a pendant, are carried out at £40 per hour plus VAT plus materials.

We are based in Medway but regularly travel to other areas, however small incremental increases are applicable to our fixed prices, please contact us for more details.
