For homebuyers this can include commissioning the system, particularly if the property has been empty for a long time, running the boiler, looking for obvious faults and testing the radiators.
For existing owners or new occupiers, you may feel that the boiler installation has never been right. We frequently come across systems where, for example, the boiler has been wrongly installed, the pipework is undersized or the system was not treated with a chemical flush at the point of installation. Sometimes these errors cause material damage to the boiler and other times it results in the system underperforming.
We are breakdown and repair specialists and so we will rarely recommend that you need a new boiler. We will always try to give you an accurate repair cost for what you have and come up with innovative, cost effective ways of correcting the problem, i.e. not ripping it out and starting again.
